Janet has had over 2 years experience in radio work. She joined BBC Radio Kent in Winter 2004 and soon became a regular on the Saturday morning breakfast show.

Along with the resident DJ’s, Janet created “The Matron," a character appropriate to the name of the show “Saturday Morning Carry On”
Hosting On air competitions, discussions and even reading the News! Janet was versatile to perform all of these with talent and professionalism. “The Matron” became a hit with the 150,000 listeners and Janet built up quite a fan base which led to cabaret performances, public appearances and even magazine front covers/articles
